In industrial activities it is critical that power and data services are well-protected against humidity, corrosion and outdoor exposure.
Unex insulating cable management systems are unaffected by corrosion and provide good protection against outdoor exposure, the UVs and chemical agents, increasing reliability and safety of the installations for persons and for the equipment, and enhancing the plant’s productivity.
Unex products can be installed in different areas within the mining sector to distribute and protect the wiring. The most common processes in metal mining involving cable
management systems are: mechanical processes, hydro refining (concentrate drying, smelting), fire refining, electrolytic refining, auxiliary processes
(gas process, slag cleaning, cooling towers, conveyors).
As a consequence of the willingness to preserve the technological know-how of the metal mining industry, it is not common to obtain authorized pictures of real applications of our products in the metal mining processes. The cases we are displaying belong to similar applications in other fields (ex. chemical, petrochemical, water treatment), in which our insulating solutions have shown a successful performance and clear advantages in front of other alternatives.
